Before an interview it would be wise to research the district and school where you want to be employed. This activity can help you get an overview. When entering a new job being aware of all the components that ARE a school will help you become a vital and integral part of that unique community, that "world".
As a future member of a school community you need to be a good consumer as well. Many times teaching jobs are scarce. It is also at times hard to "get a foot in the door". However, consider if the school is right for you. For example: If you love technology and want to integrate it into your teaching and your classroom, research the technology resources and support of the district and schools before submitting an application.
